The Converdge Core 2.0 platform is an enterprise social network and community platform. It brings together robust community applications, complete management tools and an Open API infrastructure. We built the Converdge Core 2.0 platform to be very flexible, easely allow companies and brands to successfully integrate community functionality into their overall brand experience.
Profile- All users will have their own personal profile. They can edit this profile any way they choose. Adding photos and videos, embedding slideshows, as well as including information such as likes and dislikes, favorite tv shows, etc. Network administrators may also add custom form fields to users' profiles.
Blogging- Each user will receive there own online Journal or Blog. Here they can share stories or personal media with their friends and other users within their extended network. Users can send any photo or video they have uploaded to their blog simply by clicking the “Blog It” link located under all media on the ConVerdge platform.
Advanced Customization- The ability to update one's profile is endless. We have designed a powerful, yet easy to use profile customizer which lets users see a live preview of how their profile will look based on the choices they have made. Overall style of a user's profile is CSS controlled and can be molded to fit exactly what they want.
Full Featured Messaging system- Our full featured mail system allows users to send private messages to one another. Our mail system supports basic HTML which allows users to add photos, videos and customized text to all their messages.
Advanced Photo Gallery- Users can upload unlimited photos to the site. Photos are uploaded using our java uploader application or iPhoto exporter plugin. Users can also create albums and set privacy levels for each of their photos. They can even send any photo they uploaded as a personalized, digital postcard to anyone they choose.
Comments, Ratings & Tagging- Users can post comments to photos, videos, blogs and other users' profiles. Users may also rate and tag all content on the platform. This will allow users to easily categorize and rate all content within the network.
Advanced Video Gallery- Users can upload unlimited videos to the site using our java uploader application or various built-in importing tools. They can also create albums and set privacy levels for each of their videos.
Bulletins- This is a messaging system which allows users to post information that may be of interest to their friends or other users within their extended network. Unlike the Private messaging system, these messages can be viewed by all those within that user's personal network. Our bulletin system supports our advanced privacy system and basic HTML which allows users to add photos, videos and customized text to all their messages.
Media Player- A full featured Media player which includes built in, on the fly, flash conversion and streaming media capabilities. This allows all videos uploaded to be converted from their original format to flash. Flash video streams better and keeps file sizes to a minimum.
Advanced Privacy & Security- We built our platform to make it easy for users to share information with friends and other users. We understand that members may not want to share everything with just anybody. That is why we give them a high level of control over who can access their information, as well as their media using our platform's advanced privacy settings.
Browse Component- Our powerful browse feature allows users to quickly browse through people and content throughout the entire network. This includes videos, photos, music and blogs.
Integrated Search- This dynamic search feature allows users to search throughout the entire platform. This is done through the use of specified categories and built-in filters which help to narrow results giving users more accurate search results.
